Des scientifiques (Groenland) veulent transformer la chair de requin en bio-carburant.

Pour faire part de votre mécontement, je vous transmet le mail de la scientifique Marianne Willemoes Joergensen qui a dit je cite : " Je pense qu'il existe une alternative pour exploiter les milliers de tonnes de résidus des produits de la mer, dont ceux, nombreux, des requins"

Ici la lettre à copier coller :

Dear Madam,

I'm writing you to inform you of my indignation regarding recent news in the media about using shark meat –which is fat– to produce biodegradable fuel.
Once one uses one of the most important fishes of our ecosystem it is rather hypocrite to use the word «bio» because you are doing the exact opposite, and I will ask you to remove this word.

Some species of sharks are already on the brink of extinction because of overfishing and finning.

100 million of sharks are killed every year and you want to increase the toll ?

A huge responsibility will weigh heavily on your shoulders if you lead this project to the end. You will have to deal with several associations protecting Sharks.

I am asking you to please reconsider, we are the future generation, your project could have dreadful consequences for the future.
